On Saturday, March 30, Lebanon Opera House (LOH) is proud to present a sensory-friendly* viewing of the film Shrek. In 2001, Shrek was awarded the first-ever Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Since then, Shrek films have stood the test of time, or at least the test of a far away swamp. Come join Shrek, Fiona and all the fairy tale characters as they face off with the evil Lord Farquaad.

In partnership with Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), our generous corporate sponsor, LOH is pleased to offer Saturday’s film showing for FREE. Families are encouraged to enjoy a fun Easter egg hunt at the CCBA at 10 AM and then swiftly make their way to LOH for:

  • Free snacks – compliments of APD
  • Sensory-friendly Shrek coloring station
  • Sensory-friendly “cooling station” tent – compliments of Special Needs Support Center (SNSC)
  • Additional resources from SNSC – visit them in the lobby
  • Selfies with a lifesize cutout of Shrek
  • Beginning at 10:10 AM, the Shrek film will deliver 90 minutes of amazing adventures and hilarious comedy.

If you missed the pre-movie fun at CCBA, you can join Lebanon Outing Club starting at 11 am at Storrs Hill with crafts, coloring, egg hunt, and more!
