This intermission will end. Eventually.
Now more than ever, your support is needed.
Join with your friends and neighbors to play a starring role in LOH’s continued success.
The health and safety of LOH’s entire extended family–staff, volunteers, patrons, members, donors, foundations, business partners and their customers–remain our top priorities. That’s why all LOH programming remains temporarily suspended.
Like many in the arts community, LOH relies heavily on ticket sales. With programming suspended, there are effectively no ticket sales at this time. We look forward to the day when we can return fully to our role as a vital hub for our community and the performing arts. But in the meantime, we must turn to patrons, donors, and members like you – all who are able – to help LOH get through this crisis.
Here are four ways you can help, right now:
- Follow LOH on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and if you like what you’re seeing, help spread the word with your “Likes” and “Shares”
- Purchase a gift card
- Make a donation (see tips below)
- If you’re holding tickets for a show that’s been canceled or postponed, please consider converting your purchase into a tax-deductible donation, or hold off as long as possible before requesting any refund. Email us at info@lebanonoperahouse.org if you’d like to convert your tickets into a donation. We’ll take care of it and send you a thank you.

LOH DONATION TIPS
Did you know that for 2020 you can claim up to $300 ($600 for couples filing jointly) in donations to nonprofits like LOH as an “above-the-line” deduction without having to itemize on your federal income tax returns?
For many of our donors, supporting LOH with a direct gift from your IRA account can still have many advantages (even though mandatory minimum distributions (RMDs) are suspended for the 2020 tax year. Contact us for details.
LOH also welcomes gifts of appreciated stock, as well as gifts and grants from family foundations and Donor Advised Funds (DAFs). Despite recent downturns and continuing volatility, if you have owned investment assets long term, the tax benefits of donating stock can allow many donors to give more generously at a time when your support for the arts has never been more important. If you already have assets in a DAF account, now is a perfect time to allocate some of those funds to support LOH in this time of need.
To leave a gift in your will, simply share this sentence with your attorney or financial planner: “I bequeath $____ or ___% of my estate to Lebanon Opera House, 51 N. Park Street, Lebanon, NH 03766.”
Lebanon Opera House is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization; all gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.
