Age Appropriateness

Each performance has been designated as being appropriate for a range of grades based on content and artists’ recommendations. Ultimately, it is a teacher’s decision whether her/his students should attend.

Show Times and Lengths

Please plan to arrive at least one-half hour prior to curtain to be sure you have enough time to be seated and escort students to restrooms before the performance starts. All YES! performances are approximately one hour in length unless otherwise noted.

Seating Policies

All YES! shows are general admission and schools are seated in the order they arrive for the performance. A section will be reserved for small groups.

Special Needs

Lebanon Opera House is handicapped accessible. Notice of special needs must be requested in advance of the performance.

Study Guides

Detailed study guides are available for all YES! shows. A copy of the study guide will be e-mailed to the school’s contact person one month before the performance.

Changes

Any adjustments to the number of seats can be made either by phone or directly on your invoice up until one month before the performance. Requests to change your reservation will be accommodated whenever possible, however your school is ultimately responsible for purchasing the number of seats indicated on your invoice. No changes may be made less than one month before the show.

Dismissal

Whenever possible, the audiences are dismissed by school after YES! performances. Please have your students wait in their seats until your school is called to leave. When your bus arrives, the number you received before the performance will be announced. When you hear your bus number, please raise your hand and an usher will escort you to your bus.

Residencies and Workshops

With advance notice, in-school residency and workshop opportunities may be arranged with either LOH-produced artists or regional artists specializing in corresponding genres. Please call 603-448-0400 if your school is interested in hosting a performer.

Inclement Weather Policy

If inclement weather prevents an artist from performing, all efforts are made to reschedule the show for another day. However, regardless of school cancellations, if an event is presented we are obligated to pay the performers and therefore unable to offer refunds. A credit to a future YES! performance can be given to schools that are closed due to weather conditions. If your school is cancelled on a performance day, you must contact Lebanon Opera House within two business days to obtain a credit.

Drop-Off

Students must be dropped off in the front of the Opera House. The parking spaces directly in front and in back of the crosswalk will be coned off for buses. Please make sure you are not parked on the crosswalk.

Pick-Up

Bus drivers will be instructed whether to pick up students from the back or the front of the building. Lebanon Opera House must be able to control the number of buses accessing both sides of the building, so please pick-up your students as assigned.

If you are picking students up from the front of the building, please follow the drop-off procedure and remember to not park on the crosswalk.

If you are picking students up from the back of the building, the Police Department has recommended that you circle around Colburn Park, go straight past the gas station onto Campbell Street and take the first left onto Flynn Street (the one-way street). You will then be directly in back of the Opera House. The students, with the help of ushers and teachers, will cross in front of your bus to get on and you can easily exit via Court Street.

Parking

Bus parking is located in the lower parking lot, in back of Lebanon Opera House, beside the CCB. The lot is easily accessed from Campbell Street.

Please call the Lebanon Opera House at 603-448-0400 or e-mail hclow@lebanonoperahouse.org if you have questions or would like more information about YES!
