|Athena Parker has been slimed and she doesn’t think it’s very funny! There is a practical joker on the loose in Ms. Gleason’s class, so it’s up to Jigsaw (Theodore) Jones and his friend Mila to catch the clown. This might be their most slippery case yet. Brimming with music, charm, and humor, ArtsPower’s production, based on the book by renowned author James Preller, will make audiences laugh and think as they learn the secret codes that Jigsaw must decipher to solve the mystery.|
|Madison and Daniela are best friends, but when the new girl, Amy, arrives at their school, Daniela starts to feel threatened. That is until Amy makes a big mistake: she sends an embarrassing selfie online. Soon everyone in the school has seen it and no one is going to let her forget it, especially Daniela. The bullying gets so bad that Amy stops coming to school. Now Madison is caught between the most popular girl in the school, and her new friend who needs an ally. Working Group Theatre’s Out of Bounds explores the vicious world of cyber-bullying and the complicated choices young people make when navigating the politics of friendship.|
|This family-friendly holiday classic is the story of a miraculous encounter between Amahl, a boy with a lame leg, and the Three Magi. The moving tale is a timeless and inspiring message of how faith, charity, unselfish love, and good deeds can work miracles. The one-act, 45-minute opera is sung in English and will be performed with a chamber orchestra and professional soloists.

In addition to public performances, students and educators are invited to attend a free performance on Friday, December 16th at 10:00 AM. Bus scholarships are also available to schools unable to pay for transportation. Teachers receive study guides before the performances to help introduce their students to opera.
