“In Verch’s hands, folk music gets a spring in its step…with swoops and leaps that put dance in your feet and a grin on your face.” — Songlines Magazine

April Verch knows how to put a fresh spin on old-time sounds.

This celebrated Canadian fiddler (featured during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver) is perhaps best known for playing traditional styles from her native Ottawa Valley. In concert, however, her dynamic performances pulse with of-the-moment immediacy and extend into bluegrass, country, and Americana styles.

From her home in Horse Shoe, NC, Verch is joined by Cody Walters for a concert highlighting the simple pleasures of acoustic instruments and voices in intimate conversation.
