Join Upper Valley Community Band for an unforgettable afternoon of classical, jazz, ragtime, and modern works that showcase the power and versatility of live music.

From the regal grandeur of Walton’s Crown Imperial, the lively ragtime of Europe’s Castle Walk, and the soulful depth of Handy’s St. Louis Blues, the repertoire highlights a rich musical journey. Blackshaw’s introspective Peace Dancer and Persichetti’s multifaceted Divertimento showcase modern creativity, while Pryor’s tender Thoughts of Love and Sousa’s spirited Manhattan Beach bring tradition and charm. The concert band will also perform Gillespie’s jazz classic Night in Tunisia, a bold, rhythmic masterpiece.

This performance takes time to celebrate artistry and showcase the power and versatility of live music.
