Lights up, sound down. This sensory-friendly big screen event provides a comforting environment for movie fans of all ages who might be inspired to wiggle, walk, or sing! All are welcome.
Carl Fredricksen is not your average hero. He’s a grumpy retired balloon salesman who ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America to fulfill his lifelong dream of adventure. But after Carl discovers an 8-year-old stowaway named Russell, this unlikely duo soon finds themselves on a hilarious journey in a lost world filled with danger and surprises.
Members of the Sensory-friendly Upper Valley consortium will be on hand to share information and raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders. Need a break? Stop by the Mobile Sensory Station with light and sound therapy, and other sensory equipment.
