Praised by NPR for their “upbeat, poppy vibe [and] energetic, driving rhythms,” Twisted Pine takes traditional music into exhilarating directions with a sound they call Americana funk.
The boundary-jumping Boston band combines playful harmonies with instrumental virtuosity (on fiddle, bass, mandolin, and flute) and cites fellow musical explorers Jerry Douglas, Béla Fleck, Sierra Hull, Billy Strings, The Wood Brothers, and Lake Street Dive as influences.
