Praised for its soulful and orchestral sound, The String Queens is a dynamic ensemble whose repertoire moves effortlessly from Baroque to jazz to the Hot 100 chart. TSQ serves as a bridge between classical music and mainstream pop, upending expectations for the string trio format in the process.
Based in Washington, D.C., TSQ has been featured in performances at renowned concert halls and venues across the country including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. Notable appearances include a special performance dedicated to Vice President Kamala Harris at the “We Are One” Presidential Inauguration Concert in January 2021 and a spotlight presentation of TSQ’s electrifying arrangement of Golden by Harry Styles for Wimbledon.
The trio’s most recent album, Rise, includes unique arrangements of timeless classics by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and more.
