What happens when Washington, D.C.’s premiere political satire group – The Capitol Steps – calls it quits after nearly 40 years? Most folks would agree that it was a great run and walk away but, for an intrepid group of cast members and a co-writer, they couldn’t bear to live in a world without bipartisan belly laughs.
Their solution? The Capitol Fools: the new and improved comedy troupe that puts the “mock” in democracy and pokes fun at the absurdity on both sides of the political divide.
