Upper Valley Music Center hosts a special edition of the Suzuki Showcase concert celebrating the organization’s 30th anniversary. This concert features more than 100 students (ages 3-18) sharing music on cello, harp, viola, and violin. Special guests the Villalobos Brothers and their band will join UVMC students on stage, as the culmination of a full-year educational residency.

This concert combines the Villalobos Brothers’ tradition of son jarocho music from their home state of Veracruz, the Brothers’ original compositions, Suzuki repertoire, and American fiddle tunes. This year’s Suzuki Showcase is the culmination of UVMC’s Sing & Play 30 for 30; 30 hours of continuous music demonstrating the importance of music in our community!

This concert is part of a partnership with the West Claremont Center for the Arts, funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies.
