Set one year after If I Could Ride, Bridgett returns home to the Van Heusen Estate. After being expelled from college, she finds herself heavily dependent on opioids and plunges into the dark world of drug use.
Meanwhile, Jodie’s mom (Sandy) is dating a race car driver named Ricky. Grampa Bill is caught in the middle as Jodie wrestles with accepting Ricky into their lives.
Finally, still suffering from the loss of his wife and daughter, Jimmy receives a shock from his past. He meets Rebecca, who’s struggling with being a single mom and raising her young blind son, David.
