Reckless Breakfast is the product of years of evolution in the Upper Valley bluegrass scene. The band’s playful antics, creative bluegrass arrangements of songs from artists as diverse as Walk the Moon and The Beatles, and collection of classic flatpicking numbers are sure to delight any listener. Their simple harmonies and boisterous instrumentals have timeless appeal.
Jen Freise (fiddle), Ford Daley (dobro), Steve Henning (banjo), and Dave Lloyd (guitar) all provide virtuosic instrumental leads while Rory Gawler’s vocals/mandolin and Duff Cummings’ bass round out the sound. With Jen and Ford singing harmony with Laura Jean Binkley, this old-fashioned string band’s sound is accessible to all.
