FREE! Celebrate Ugandan culture with Percussion Discussion Afrika, the folk-pop group whose exuberant dance music is fast-paced and fun for all ages.

PDA’s sound is driven by the melodic rhythms of traditional buganda drums accompanied by the adungu — a traditional harp from northern Uganda.

The band has toured extensively throughout Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Their pulsing and interactive performances keep audiences on their feet as they are transported into the so-called “Pearl of Africa” — Winston Churchill’s nickname for Uganda based on its natural beauty and abundant wildlife.

Support for Percussion Discussion Afrika’s residency is generously provided in part by Matt Locker and Cathy Schneider.
