From a luminous owl that flies above the audience to mice dressed in polka dots to dancers leaping with huge chopsticks, choreographer Keith Michael’s magical reimagining of the timeless ballet bursts with energy and excitement.

This cherished holiday extravaganza, danced to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, is set in Art Nouveau style circa 1907 and features set design by Gillian Bradshaw-Smith and costumes by Sylvia Taalsohn Nolan, the Metropolitan Opera’s Resident Costume Designer.
