Waahli is a Montréal-based artist of Haitian descent who draws inspiration from a childhood immersed in traditional melodies.
As a co-founding member of the hip-hop collective Nomadic Massive and now, as a captivating solo artist, Waahli’s music deftly blends rap with Afrobeat, reggae with Haitian funk.
With ancestral rhythms and sharp lyricism, Waahli delivers an alternative hip-hop sound (performed in English, French, and Haitian Creole) that takes listeners on a journey across the globe. On stage, his generous interactions with the audience create an electrifying atmosphere, celebrating cultural diversity with infectious energy.
