SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 (subject to change)
All activities take place in Colburn Park, located across from LOH/City Hall in downtown Lebanon. This is a rain or shine event; rain locations TBA.
12:00-3:00 PM – Small Stage, Big Talent (Busker Stage)
Located on the pedestrian mall near Three Tomatoes, the Busker Stage is a quiet refuge from the crowds. The line-up includes performances from local musicians, and you can share your talents during the open mic hour at 2 PM – no registration required.
3:00-4:00 PM – Musical Spoon Workshop (Busker Stage)
Learn to play the spoons with The Vaudevillian’s Jitterbug James and Norah Spades. Space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. No experience necessary; observers are welcome.
3:00-4:00 PM – Family Silent Disco (Second Stage)
DJ Jayden provides the kid-friendly beats, we supply the headphones, and your family brings their best dance moves. Space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
4:15-5:00 PM – The Red Trouser Show (Second Stage) 📺
Circus stunts, juggling, acrobatics, and comedy collide in this electrifying performance from Circus Smirkus alums David and Tobin. Expect non-stop action…and a human pyramid!
5:15-6:30 PM – The Vaudevillian (Main Stage) 📺
Armed with a washboard, banjo, harmonica, resonator guitar, and musical spoons, this high-octane jug band brings the swingin’ spirit of the 1930s roaring back to life.
6:45-7:45 PM – Kotoko Brass (Second Stage) 📺
“Propulsive, infectious party music” (The Boston Globe) that’s a blend of traditional Ghanaian drumming, the rock-steady rhythms of the Caribbean, and the joyous horn lines of New Orleans.
8:00-9:30 PM – Tuck’s Rock Dojo (Main Stage) 📺
Close out your Nexus experience with music educator Tuck Stocking and an all-star band of talented teens as they bring to life the greatest rock anthems of the ‘80s, ‘90s, and beyond.
