Purple: A Tribute to Prince

Get ready to “party like it’s 1999” as the Purple crew slinks through Prince’s extensive catalogue of hits – from Let’s Go Crazy to Little Red Corvette – and jams on some deep cuts.

Prince means a lot to singer Craig Mitchell; there’s a real connection between Prince’s music and Mitchell’s youth: “I’m not sure what it is, but when I heard his first album something about the music, the lyrics, and his voice spoke to me. I was hooked. In a lot of ways, P, as many fans refer to him, saved my life.”

Mitchell and his band of merry funk-sters have been honoring that life-saving music since 2010 and we’re excited to have them close out Nexus 2023!
