Praised by Rolling Stone as “a powerhouse unit,” Nefesh Mountain is one of today’s formative boundary-pushing Americana ensembles. Under the direction of dynamic husband and wife team Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff, the band blurs the lines between bluegrass, folk, jazz, and blues.
Since the band’s formation nearly a decade ago, Lindberg and Zasloff have been proudly open about their Jewish American heritage and are among the first of their peers to infuse Jewish tradition and soul into the diverse tapestry of American roots music. The result is a sound that embodies their wild nature and unbridled free spirits, bridging compositional prowess and prolific songwriting with deft instrumentals and jams.
This event is part of LOH’s FREE Nexus Music and Arts Festival. Location: Colburn Park (across from LOH/City Hall)
