Get ready for an afternoon of classic tunes, inspired originals, singalongs, and dance songs geared toward kiddos and their caregivers.
An engaging vocalist, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Emma Cook’s music is thoughtful and upbeat.
If you had to, you could call her sound indie folk or funky Americana, and since the release of her debut album in 2011, she’s been compared to artists like Regina Spektor, Feist, Brandi Carlile, and Kasey Musgraves.
Since 2018, Emma has expanded her engagement with kids — offering private lessons to budding musicians, performing original children’s music, and leading classes of music and movement for young people in her community.
This event is part of LOH’s FREE Nexus Music and Arts Festival. Location: Colburn Park (across from LOH/City Hall)
