Get ready to rock this town with the Grammy-nominated founder/bass player for rockabilly revivalists the Stray Cats!
Lee Rocker made his mark singing and playing (and standing on, spinning, and slapping) his giant upright bass as a founding member of the Grammy-nominated Stray Cats. The rockabilly revivalists sold over 10 million albums and recorded a string of hits including Stray Cat Strut and Rock this Town.
From appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone and performing on Saturday Night Live, to headlining the US Festival and touring with the Rolling Stones, Rocker has done it all. In addition to his work with the Stray Cats, he has recorded or performed with George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, John Fogerty, and Carl Perkins. In 2012 Lee appeared on Broadway in the hit musical Million Dollar Quartet and was inducted into the Bass Player Hall of Fame in 2014.
Fresh off a summer reunion tour with Stray Cats bandmates Brian Setzer and Slim Jim Phantom, Rocker returns to his own high-energy live shows and shares behind-the-scenes stories about his days – and nights – on the road.
