Finding common ground in the rhythms of their respective countries of origin (Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and the US) these virtuosic musicians and educators united in 2014 around a common goal: to build community and empower women and children through music.

In their original compositions, the ensemble moves effortlessly from the electric to the acoustic, from Spanish to English and Portuguese, and from the high plains of Venezuela to the Colombian coast. LADAMA’s spin on Latin Alternative music proves that borders are meaningless, transporting us to a future where the world communicates across continents and cultures through sound and story.
