Battle of Santiago

The Juno Award-nominated Battle of Santiago hails from Toronto, home to one of the largest Cuban expat communities in North America. BoS masterfully mixes ancient Afro-Cuban rhythms and chants with a distinctly Canadian post-rock spirit and sensibility. Add in the free-flowing dynamics of jazz with a hint of Fela Kuti-inspired Afrobeat and the result is a unique party-forward sound that has brought BoS to festival stages across the globe.
