Is your business invested in the vitality and vibrancy of our Upper Valley community? Do you want your employees to have opportunities to enjoy live music and theater performances? Do you hope the Upper Valley’s youth have an opportunity to be exposed to the performing arts? If you answered YES to any of these questions, you should consider exploring the Lebanon Opera House corporate partner program.
According to “Arts & Economic Prosperity 6,” a study conducted by Americans for the Arts, the Upper Valley’s nonprofit arts and culture industry made a substantial business impact in 2022/2023, generating nearly $19 million in economic activity. In addition, audience members spent more than $28 per person per event at local businesses, above and beyond the cost of admission.
“For so long, we’ve relied on anecdotal information to demonstrate how the arts benefit our local economy,” noted LOH’s Joe Clifford. “Now, we have quantifiable, Upper Valley–specific data that affirms what we always believed: A thriving artistic community enhances quality of life and has a measurable impact on local businesses and their ability to attract and retain talented employees.”
LOH is grateful for the more than 100 local and regional businesses who are sponsors of our current (2023/2024) season. If your business is eager to support a thriving performing arts community, contact Maureen Krauland today!
“Mascoma Bank partners with LOH to build one of the best aspects of Upper Valley life: community. When the Bank wanted to screen a free movie, working with LOH was an obvious choice. It was just one example of how community banks, nonprofit organizations, and civic-minded leaders can create memorable moments for people in our backyard.”
