Roseneath is one of Canada’s leading producers of issue-based theater for children and families. The Money Tree introduces the concept of financial literacy, explores the idea of “needs vs. wants,” and affirms the power of imagination.

When Shasta’s father loses his job, she is devastated to learn that plans for her upcoming birthday party must be significantly downsized. Shasta and her friend meet a mysterious Traveler who gives them a seed to grow a magical money tree. In the end, they learn that friends and family are more valuable than lavish celebrations and the latest toys.

Who wouldn’t want to live in a treehouse? The deluxe model Andy and Terry call home is equipped with a bowling alley, secret underground laboratory and self-making beds. The forgetful friends are set to stage their first-ever play but…they need to write the script!

Based on the best-selling book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton, CDP’s production uses physical comedy, puppetry, music, animation—and the occasional sea monster—to bring The 13-Story Treehouse to life with a seriously funny cast and theatrical wizardry.

Some say he’s the strangest mouse they’ve ever seen, but Manxmouse doesn’t mind being different. Setting out on an exciting adventure, he encounters tigers, foxes, hawks and a manx cat.

With trademark charm, this renowned Dutch children’s theater company warmly delivers the epic tale of a tiny hero who demonstrates what one can accomplish when hope is coupled with bravery.
