Accessible Drop Off and Entrance Area
A temporary passenger loading area is available for drop-off and pick-up with a direct, no-elevation entrance into LOH. It is located in the front of the theater with accessible entry through the City Hall Main Entrance on the east side of the building. This entrance is unlocked one hour prior to performance time.
The lobby, box office, restrooms, and orchestral level of the theater are accessible by elevator just inside the accessible City Hall Main Entrance on the east side of the building. Note: the balcony is not accessible by elevator.
Parking spaces in front and behind the theater are marked with signage.
Bike racks are available in front of LOH and at the City Hall Main Entrance on the east side of the building.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices help to amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise.
These devices are free of charge and may be requested in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or at the Box Office on the day of the event. An usher may also assist with this request. Please note the ALDs are not compatible with hearing aids.
There are two different forms of assistive listening headsets:
Mono on-ear headsets, manually plug into the receiver. Compatible with any or no hearing devices. All headsets are tuned to the frequency of 72.9 megahertz (Letter E) which is the same frequency as Kendal.
Neck loop: telecoil hearing aid compatible only. Once the neck loop is on and attached, the telecoil hearing aids may be manually connected to the receiver. Neck loop assistive listening devices contain small magnets for connectivity purposes.
